Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Tezyar collects when you use this site, why we collect it, who else may process it, and how you can reach us about it. It's written to describe what our systems actually do, not as a general legal template — if something below doesn't match your experience of the site, please contact us.
Information You Provide Directly
Contact form: when you submit a project request, we collect your name, email, phone number, project category and details (field of study, degree level, or company/business details for commercial projects), the services you're interested in, your timeline, an optional message, and an optional uploaded file (such as a manuscript, thesis, or proposal).
Account: creating an account stores your name, email, phone number, a chosen username, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
Free Tools: text you submit to a tool (for example, text to paraphrase, or notes to turn into an abstract) is sent to the AI provider currently powering that tool for processing. We do not store the text you submit or the AI's generated output in our own database — we only log which tool was used, in which language, and whether the request succeeded, for basic usage statistics.
Analytics Data
We record a small set of privacy-safe usage events — which page or tool was viewed or used, and which language you were browsing in — to understand which parts of the site are useful. This analytics data is deliberately designed to never include free-form text: no manuscript content, no tool input or output, no search queries, and no personal identifiers beyond what's needed to count an event.
How We Use Your Information
We use contact-form and account information to respond to project requests, deliver the services you've asked for, manage your account, and send confirmation or status emails. We use analytics data in aggregate to understand tool and page usage. We do not sell your information to third parties.
Third-Party Processors
Certain information is necessarily processed by the infrastructure providers that run this site: our database is hosted by Neon (PostgreSQL), the site itself is hosted and served by Vercel, transactional emails (such as project confirmations) are sent through Resend, and optional site analytics are provided by Google Analytics. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy practices.
AI Processing Disclosure
Tezyar's Free Tools are powered by third-party AI providers — currently Google's Gemini API is used by default, with Groq, OpenAI, or Anthropic used as configured alternatives. Text you submit to a Free Tool is sent to whichever provider is active at the time, for the sole purpose of generating the tool's output, and is subject to that provider's own data handling terms. If you're submitting sensitive or unpublished academic material, keep in mind it will pass through that third-party AI provider — avoid pasting information you're not comfortable sharing with an external AI service. Our AI Content Detector tool similarly sends submitted text to GPTZero, a third-party detection service, for analysis.
Data Retention
We retain contact-form submissions, account information, and uploaded files for as long as needed to deliver the requested service and to maintain a reasonable business record afterward. Analytics and tool-usage logs are retained in aggregate for understanding site usage over time. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, contact us and we'll act on that request to the extent we're able.
Your Rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. We don't currently hold a formal certification under any specific data-protection framework (for example, we do not claim GDPR certification) — but we take reasonable, good-faith steps to honor requests like these regardless of where you're located. Contact us at the email below to make a request.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of functional cookies — for example, to remember that a first-visit language redirect has already happened, and to keep you signed in to your account. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes to This Policy
If we materially change what data we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
